Ooh do I LOVE a great system! As I’m setting up CRM workflows, new calendar systems, & a few automated nurture sequences for my clients this week, I thought I’d pop in my favorite benefits I see once a well-oiled machine is up & running.

CONSISTENCY

Have you ever followed up with a potential lead, got denied, looked back to see what went wrong, & thought – Hm, who wrote this email? What was going through my head that day? 🤨 Systems fix that! & I don’t mean it’s not personalized, but the opening, closing, & next steps are almost always the same.⠀

For example, setting up a program like Dubsado, which will allow you to create templates for just about everything – proposals, contracts, invoices, and all of the emails associated with sending these items and following up on them – will not only save you TONS of time but allow you to create that 5-star experience once and automatically provide it for every client who comes through your door.

PRODUCTIVITY

I always say if you do one thing >3x per month – it can almost always be automated, saving you TONS of 🕓 & 💰! & if not, great project management systems can remind you to just do the dang thing & check that box! Then you get to watch the rainbow unicorn fly across the screen (is that what that thing is in Asana? I can never tell but it’s satisfying anyway), then watch it pop back up with an updated due date, waiting to remind you & be checked off again.⠀

Again, DUBSADO for those recurring situations. For internal tasks and bigger projects, using recurring tasks and planning tools inside of ClickUp or Asana is vital. I know I’m not the only one who sees an open day on the calendar and just decides to do whatever I want! A much easier way to make sure you are consistently chipping away at your big goals is to have a running to-do list, and a project management system is the way to go.

TRUST

Think about people whose marketing emails always look different… Templates are systems in themselves, & every great system has a way to turn a thing you do amazingly ONE TIME into something you can tweak & use to yield that same result again & again.

Have you ever been to a restaurant where you loved what had, then went back and ordered it a second time and it was nothing like the first? Disappointing to the max! Your clients should know exactly what to expect from you each and every time they come around or interact with your business. Not only that, imagine if they refer someone to you and the experience wasn’t all they chalked it up to be? That’s a bad look for everyone, and that client likely won’t refer you again. People talk – and consistency builds trust.

AUTHORITY

Have you ever booked a call with someone & their intake form asked you EXACTLY what you wanted to discuss? Both people benefit – no one is wasting time! Also, if you get an amazing response/proposal/quote immediately after emailing someone, investing in something, etc. you know it’s not their first rodeo & there’s no way you are about to try to negotiate/question them. Hello, higher-quality leads!

RETENTION

This is the result that ties all of these benefits together. Your audience, leads, & clients will know exactly what to expect – and it will cost you even less effort & time than it did to create from scratch.
